Appliances and other equipment

The correct use and maintenance of household appliances (eg. refrigerators, washing machines, chests, stoves, etc.) allows for an optimization of their energy efficiency and consequently a reduction in energy consumption (eg. opening the refrigerator doors and chests; use the economic modes of the different appliances; switch off the induction hob before its end of use in order to take advantage of the remaining heat, etc.).

It is also recommended to replace appliances with more energy efficient ones (energy label A). Note: There is a new energy scale from A to G. There are no longer “+” classes. The lower classes may be suppressed as less efficient products disappear from the market.
