Heating Systems

The heating system can be supplied via centralized systems, regardless of the energy source they use or the type of thermal energy distribution, being normally the most energy efficient type of heating solution.

If it is possible to install a centralized system, it is recommended to use boilers (preferably powered by biomass), or heat pumps, if space cooling is also required.

If there is already a centralized system, it is recommended to opt for thermal storage systems, using hot water tanks, keeping the storage temperature above 60ºC.

if not technically feasible to install a centralized system, it is recommended to opt for (electric) radiators, with heat accumulation that use a refractory material to store thermal energy, releasing it later.
