Porto Energy Hub is highlighted in Europe as a good practice in combating Energy Poverty

The European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and Environment (FEDARENE) referred to Porto Energy Hub as a good practice in mitigating energy poverty and achieving carbon neutrality on a local scale.

 

In the FEDARENE information portal, it is highlighted that Porto Energy Hub involves citizens and local entities in the search for energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions for the rehabilitation of buildings and improvement of living conditions.

 

The development of the project in a proximity model, through a One-Stop-Shop, is also highlighted as a method to provide citizens with the necessary tools to make informed decisions in terms of energy saving.
